You'll Meet the Devil at a Crossroads (Ashcan?)

This is a GM-less story game for 1 to 6 players.

The Crossroads are a mystical place, a place where things change, and worlds collide and nothing is ever the same on the other side. This is more true when a devilish choice or fateful decision is factored in.

As you explore the many crossroads in this book (or perhaps some of your own design) you will play to find out what happens in stories of love, betrayal, loss, hope, joy, and yearnig for things that are no longer.

You’ll Meet the Devil at a Crossroads (YMTD for short) is a tabletop story game, explicitly designed for single session ‘one-shot’ play.

In YMTD, you will tell stories of lives changed - where one among you is singled out or makes a choice which forever alters both your own character and the others in extremely dramatic ways.  


Please note - this game, while fully play-tested and ready for you to enjoy, is packaged in a shonky piece of bad visual design, amateur illustrations, and poor writing. 

UPDATE: March 2025. I have engaged an artist to develop work for this, an editor, and am making layout now. Expect to have a proper finished version in the next couple of months!
